2019 Ride for Respiratory Health

The 2019 Ride for Respiratory Health was completed in November, just before Thanksgiving.  Originally scheduled for September, it was delayed due to injury and while the delay and injury recovery caused a change to the format and timing of the ride, it was a success and we are already seeking riders and sponsors for the 2020 Ride for Respiratory Health.

2019 Ride for Respiratory Health Highlights:

  • $1,373 raised

  • 100% of all expenses were covered by Partner Liberia’s Liam Carstens, so all funds will go to our programs in Liberia, including educating respiratory therapists

  • 3 days of rides in brisk November weather

  • 2 states covered, including the Great Allegheny Passage Trail in Pennsylvania and the C & O Canal Towpath in Maryland

  • Many connections made for next year’s ride
